Following the retirial of Freda Marshal the parish was linked with Craignish linked with Kilmelford and Kilninver

The joint parish of Netherlorn now has a new minister the Rev Dr Kenneth Ross, who has enthusiastically taken up the challenge of this exciting role in the beautiful area of Nether Lorn
Services in the five churches are lead by a Ministry Team consisting of Minister, Readers, and a Lay Assistant.

Isle of Luing
Population - 220
Size - 5 miles by 1 mile
Reached by ferry across the 200m wide Cuan Sound.
The villages of Toberonachy and Cullipool were built for slate workers. Slate continued to be worked until 1965.
Luing provided the roofing for Iona Cathedral. The famous luing cattle come from this island. The church is situated next to the school about a mile north of Toberonachy. Visitors are very welcome to join the services
